We live for cars
Hi, I’m jim and It all started when…
I visited Uncle Bob's garage as a young boy and fell in love with old cars. When I was fifteen, my father gave me his '64 Chevy truck. I learned how to drive with that Chevy and began restoring it.
My next project was a '68 Mustang, then a '73 Roadrunner, and the list goes on. Some of my favorites were a '37 Oldsmobile, a '37 Pontiac, a '38 Ford, a '40 Chevy Coupe, and a '65 Chevy pickup. I had more fun with that '37 Oldsmobile than any other car! The cars I love the most are the pre-war fat-fendered cars. I've always had a passion to do body work, though.
I've been self-employed since I was 19 years old. My father taught me drywall, and I built a successful drywall business for 30 years. In the meantime, I'd buy old trucks and cars to fix up and drive them to enjoy and sell. I also loved restoring old Corvettes which I did as a hobby.
In 2001, I sold my drywall business to pursue my passion of restoring classic cars and building hot rods. To support that, I built a 3000 sq. ft. shop with four bays to accommodate future business. This is what I truly love to do. It's a privilege to be part of seeing other people's dreams come to life.
